New CAO Hired

Council has hired Cyril Fortney as their new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). He will start work on November 2, 2020 and officially take on the title of CAO in mid-December.

Cyril brings a range of experience to the position, especially in the area of finance. He will replace Kathy Whiteside, the current CAO, who is retiring at the end of December. The transition plan allows for 2 months of overlap for orientation and training.

Councillors extended a warm welcome to Cyril at their October meeting and are confident that he will be an asset to the community.
